Millions of families experience heart breaking sorrow for a missing pet. I was initially unaware of puppy mills or pet exploitation. Throughout my journey, I've encountered many stories of dogs being taken from backyards, by dog sitters, or even during a drive-by, only to be sold to the highest bidder. Meanwhile, families are left heartbroken, desperately searching for their beloved fur baby. I began this journey in hopes of finding my stolen blue Dalmatian, Scorpio, but I discovered I wasn't alone. Someone needs to advocate for our extended family members and help people understand that pets are family, not just property! I am proud to be that advocate. Pet parents are a unique group of people who radiate kindness, love, and patience. We cherish our pets and rely on their companionship. They are faithful and loyal. As parents, we must do everything possible to keep them safe and change the world's narrative about pets.
